The working research group “Colonial Continuities” looks back into the past of colonialism and highlights the after-effects of colonial thought and action to this day.

Resistance and solidarity, but also the conflictual intersection of cultural heritage, cultural appropriation and identity, are topics that they would like to address. They will be accompanied by the question of how to emerge from colonial continuities and overcome them.
