CAFÉ DAINA

I was asked to create a logo for a small countryside café in the north of Germany.
The family name “Daina” is of Latvian descent, and my client asked me to incorporate their heritage in the logo.
In the word “Café”, the Latvian rune symbol for “Laima” (Goddess of Good Fortune) replaces the letter C.
The logo can be used as a whole within the circle, and additionally, the rune symbol can be used on its own in different applications.
